These Cherry Cheesecake Protein Parfaits are decadent bliss with every bite! Each one is layered with protein cheesecake, sugar free cherry pie filling, and low carb vanilla wafer. It tastes like a rich dessert but has 46 grams of protein per jar! It's also gluten free and macro friendly.
NOTES: We used Swerve confectioner's powdered sweetener which measures 1:1 like sugar. You can use any brand you like and sweeten it to taste. We also used sugar free vanilla wafers, but you can use regular vanilla wafers.
Cherry Cheesecake Protein Parfaits
Makes 2 servings
Ingredients:
8 oz. fat free cream cheese (or reduced fat)
8 oz. nonfat plain Greek yogurt
35g Metabolic Nutrition Protizyme in Vanilla Cake
1/2 cup powdered sweetener (we used Swerve confectioner's)
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
18 fl. oz. no sugar added cherry pie filling
60g crushed vanilla wafers (sugar free)
Directions:
In each of two mason jars, layer 2 tbsp. (10g) crushed vanilla wafer, 1/3 cup cheesecake, 1/3 cup cherry pie filling, and repeat for three layers. Top with any remaining vanilla wafer.
Keep chilled until ready to eat. These parfaits are best enjoyed the same day!
